Ivy Li is an art historian, cultural content creator, and a rising voice in arts & culture. With this voice, she is redefining how the audience engages with beauty. She is the Creative Director of Festina Lente, a cultural platform and travel atelier rooted in the philosophy of moving slowly, seeing deeply, and as such living meaningfully. She also produced the brand’s eponymous documentary, which explores art, memory, and slowness across Asia, North America, and Europe.

She holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Art History and French Literature, as well as a Master of Art degree in Art History from the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on the Italian Renaissance, particularly the intersection of art and politics, women’s artistic agency, and cross-cultural exchange. Her writing has been published in international journals, and she has spoken at numerous academic conferences across Europe.

Beyond academia, Ivy runs a popular art and culture account on RedNote and Instagram (@艾薇I.L./ @ivyonthesuitcase @festinalentesemper), where she shares thoughtful, entertaining stories that bring art history out of the ivory tower and into everyday life. Her mission is to democratize beauty, revive curiosity, and create a new cultural language for a new generation.
